Two years, and one associate's degree later, David began his studies at the University at Buffalo. Originally intending to study Finance, he met a friend who would go on to sell him on the wonders of Mangement Information Systems, or MIS for short. Due to his passion for technology, he decided to take a few classes relating to Management Information Systems, and was very intrigued. These courses allowed him to work on projects in Networking, Database Administration, and Systems Architecture and Design. He also learned some skills in various programming languages along the way (HTML/CSS, PHP, SQL, Java).
Fresh out of high school, and not knowing which direction to head, David decided to start his collegiate studies at a local community college. Due to his interest in Chemistry and Calculus, he originally began studying Math & Sciences, but later decided to switch things up. A small interest in Finance prompted him to decide on Business Administration as a new degree path. After some research, he found that he could transfer his credits to another school within the SUNY system. Being an overachiever, he wanted to finish his commitment to his associate degree, but also needed to take some prerequisites to not be behind when he transfered schools after 2 years of hard work. Thus, he needed to take classes during the winter and summer sessions. It was this hard work early on that helped him to develop a strict "no days off" attitude.
